Dear Beauty Bound fans.

Thank you for all the years of supporting Beauty Bound and our efforts at creating gorgeous images. Unfortunately the current political climate with the Communication Decency Act and the increased demands of the recordkeeping requirements, it has become nearly impossible for many artists to publish beautiful erotic work. We've decided that it's time to close this site.

Not happy? We're not either. We encourage you to think about, talk about and have your voice be heard through votes and individual activism. Some good sites for information on the current situation and what you can do about this:

All the artists represented in this site are not ceasing their work. We are having to find different venues. So please look us up!

Michael has prints of the Beauty Bound work available for purchase. He remains available for private commissions and commercial work, but he will no longer shoot bondage for public display. Look for his fashion and fine art portraiture next year at www.FolioBlue.com.

Deep heartfelt thanks go out to the people who made Beauty Bound possible:

• The beauties themselves who lent their loveliness, trust, talent, and sometimes even submission, to rock our worlds, caress our lens, and stir our loins.
• Countless helpers behind the scenes who made the shoots go more smoothly - carrying crates, massaging tired muscles, and calmly deflecting nosy neighbor's unwanted attention.
• Tireless friends who crossed countries and even oceans to man our convention booth, lens a performance, or wear rope-and-paint-and-precious-little-more up there on the stage.
• Those who organized our office, designed pages and banners, and pushed pixels around the screen so our stuff would look good.
• Those who lent us use of their homes and workplaces, trying hard not to think of what could become of the lady 20 feet in the air.
• The Great God of Locations and nuclear engineering for the unbelievably cool shoot sites and friends who managed the location. 3 years, and only one cop knew about the shoots. <weg>
• Our friendly Custodian of Records, JD, Esq. protecting us and the identies of our victims. I mean... models. ; )
• Fellow webmasters who gave generously of their time, expertise, links, and resources.
• Guest artists - fellow photogs, riggers, and models, who shared the fruits of their work with Beauty Bound members.
• The clubs and venues who hosted the parties and art shows, providing one more place one can wear curve caressing leather and latex, while sampling wine and hors d'ouvres.
• ...and most important, You - the fans and patrons who made gave us your support, encouragement, generosity, and love from all over the world. You dared be different with the things that fuel your fire. We did our best to make it beautiful - and hot.
